April 11, 2012 Meeting Minutes


CALL TO ORDER / INTRODUCTIONS / APPROVAL OF MINUTES


The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm at Hawk’s Prairie Inn Restaurant in Lacey by Megan Renick, followed by introductions.  The minutes of the prior meeting where approved.


SCHOLARSHIP FUND – Karen Johnson & Mark Twardzicki

Mark reported no new updates.


TREASURER’S REPORT – Larry Weniger

Larry was not able to attend but forwarded the results of the Poker Rally.  A total of $961.00 was received and after expenses of $270.68, $690.32 was added to the scholarship fund.  Duncan and Dee were presented an award for all their work on making the Poker Rally a success.


COMMITTEE REPORTS


MEMBERSHIP – Art Carter

Membership matters are up to date.

NWACC – George Schwartz

Nothing new to report.


NATIONAL CORVETTE MUSEUM – George Schwartz

No updates. 


HISTORIAN – Marilyn Trogden 

Marilyn did not have any new history to report.

SPONSORSHIP – Peggy Rogers

No new info to report.


SUNSHINE

No new sunshine activity to report


EVENTS & ACTIVITIES – Josette Miller

The event sign up notebook was circulated amongst the members.  


VETTEFEST

VetteFest planning is underway.  Anne reported on the first planning committee meeting.  The  next Executive Board meeting will be held May 1, 2012 at 6:00 PM at Hawks Prairie Inn for futher VetteFest Planning.


OLD BUSINESS

There was no old business.



NEW BUSINESS

No new business was presented.


Raffle – Larry Weniger

Raffle tickets were sold at the end of the meeting and raised more funds for the club.


ADJOURNMENT

The meeting was adjourned at 7:45PM.

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 7:00 PM at Hawk’s Prairie Inn.
