Minutes of the Feb 8th, 2006 Meeting
President Vinnie called the meeting order at 7PM.
Introductions were next.
A motion was made and passed that the minutes of the January meeting be approved as printed.
Old Business
The Treasurer’s Report-
The treasurer’s report was given by Art.
Membership-
Congratulations to Sam and Judy Mayo, voted in as our newest members..
Dues are due March 1st.
Historian-
Meagan had the 2002 and 2005 books with her for viewing pleasure. Thanks for all your hard work and a job well done.
Scholorship.

Events & Activities-
Tacoma Corvette Club is hosting an all Corvette Club open house on 2/25/06. Those interested can sign up to tour together.
Corvette and High Performance event: 2/11/&2/12, Puyallup fairgrounds. Bigger and Better than before. Booths for non car enthusiasts, as well.
Lions Club pancake breakfast 3/11. NTHS, starts 8:30. Corvettes will display their cars, as in the past years.
September 23 & 24 – Ocean Shores trip, and location of the September meeting.
Art and Linda have moved in the new home and will be hosting an open house, soon, so we can all have the pleasure of viewing their new home.
ACR- Mark needs workers to volunteer and Lynus needs your help to gather raffle prizes. Don’t forget, all proceeds go to our scholarship fund. Lynus will have letters available to use when requesting a donation, if you would like to have a couple on hand.
NWACC-
Due to difficulty coordinating places to have the show ‘n’ shine and the autocross events the same weekend, the club voted to postpone the NWACC event until 2007. We need to plan earlier and book dates well in advance.
Sweatshirt/T shirt info coming for anyone interested in ordering new club shirts.
Sponsorship Committee-
Peggy will send renewal letters mid February to current sponsors.

Frankie will chair the new Sunshine Committee. So if you know a club member that has been ill, hospitalized, or needs some cheering up, let Frankie know.
Dr and Mrs. Herstad attended the meeting and shared with us the history of the old Tacoma Race Track. A big piece of local history that most of us didn’t know existed. A big thanks for sharing with Corvettes de Olympia.
Raffle: Lynus won the raffle prize, consisting of a pair of pancake breakfast tickets for the Lions Club event 3/11. Ron has the January prize donation in the mail, and the cash pot was won by; the Swansons, perspective members and donors of the March raffle prize.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:40 and turned over to the Herstads.
Next meeting, March 8th, Tumwater Valley Bar and Grill, 7PM.
