 NEW BUSINESS

Peggy announced that Frankie is currently working on the plans for this year’s Christmas party.
The Christmas party will be on 12/20/08, at the Chambers restaurant at Panorama City. The cost will be $20 per person all inclusive.

An update was given on the Motorola 2 way radios.  Lee has information on the radios.  They will cost about $189.00.  The UHF version is what the club will use.

If you are interested in ordering club jackets, please contact Meagan to be put on the list.  Once we have at least 6 people interested, we can order.  The minimum order is 6 to receive a price cut from Deer Creek.  You can purchase your own style of jacket either by taking one in to them or by ordering one through them.

Peggy announced that we will meet at Woodland Elementary on the corner of Carpenter Rd and Mullen Rd at 5:45 on August 20th, for Operation Backpack.  This is an event to help supply less fortunate children with new school supplies for the beginning of the school year.  We will be joined by the Mustang Club for this challenge.  Peggy provided a handout of school supplies that are needed for each grade.  If you have further questions, please contact Peggy.

Art announced that he is currently liquidating old CdeO inventory.  He asked that if you are interested in purchasing any items such as T-shirts, license plate frames, static clings, etc.  that you contact him.

The previously announced initiatives for changes to the CdeO bylaws were passed around and voted on.  The initiative to change the guidelines  to be voted in failed, the initiative to add username and passwords to new member privilages passed.
