TREASURER’S REPORT – Art Carter

EVENTS & ACTIVITIES – Randy Harris

Randy spoke about the success of the recent Run to the Ocean and Mystery Tour, and gave details regarding the event, including money raised for the scholarship fund.

Peggy spoke about her recent attendance at the NTSD recognition event, where they thanked CdeO and the Mustang club for their backpack donations.

Duncan told us all an exciting story of his recent Route 66 car event.

Frankie sent around a sign up sheet for this year’s Christmas party.  The party will be hosted at Panorama City’s Chamber House Restaurant on December 20th, 2008.

The Downtown Olympia Christmas parade is scheduled for November 30th.

SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE – Cliff Reichel

The club will have many fundraising efforts throughout the year, including fees for participation in games on our tours (beginning with the End of Summer Run), and dedication of half of the 50/50 raffle money from each club meeting.

NWACC – Meagan Renick

Meagan reported that the autocross season is drawing to a close, with only one more NWACC autocrosses left this season.  The upcoming autocross is October 12th, in Shelton at Sanderson Field.  CdeO will be working and selling lunches at the autocross, so Meagan encouraged everyone to sign up on the sign up sheet that was being circulated, for worker positions.   She also invited CdeO members to participate in the NWACC Year End Banquet which will take place on November 1st, and is hosted by Glass Odyssey Corvette Club this year in Bremerton.  Registration forms can be found at  HYPERLINK "http://www.nwacconline.com" www.nwacconline.com.  You did not have to participate in NWACC shows or autocrosses to take part in this wonderful opportunity to hang out with your fellow Corvette folks in the “off season”.  She also mentioned that it is time again to elect NWACC Officers.  Her current position as President, and also the Secretary position are open for nominations.  CdeO nominated Meagan for the President position again.  Anyone who may be interested in the position of representative (liason) for our club, please let Meagan know.
