Meeting Minutes for Feb 10th, 2010

CALL TO ORDER / INTRODUCTIONS / APPROVAL OF MINUTES

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m., February 10, 2010 at Hawk’s Prairie Inn. Each member introduced themselves as well as their car(s). The minutes from the January meeting where approved with the following corrections: Miranda, Art and Anne declined there nominations as officers for 2010.

TREASURER’S REPORT – Art Carter
Account balances and spending was overviewed. Up to date information is available on the club website.

NWACC – George Swartz
George was not present; however the rule changes that the club voted on all passed and will be put into effect as presented.

NCM – George Schwartz
No new info.

HISTORIAN- Randy Harris
History is in the making! Pictures wanted!

SPONSORSHIP – Peggy Rogers
Letters will be going out to sponsors very soon.

SCHOLARSHIP – Karen Johnson
Cliff Reichel will no longer be a part of this committee.

WEBSITE – Art Carter
Web site is up to date.

MEMBERSHIP – Art Carter

SUNSHINE – Fankie Sokso
The club will send a card to Randy Harris following hip surgery.

EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES – Josette Miller and Jon Cox
The new season is just around the corner and the E&A book is open for sign up’s. The club website also has the events on it for sign ups.

The annual Lions Club Pancake breakfast is 2/27 @ North Thurston High School. The club will meet at Chinook @ 8 am and then drive over all together @ 8:30am.(tour to follow w/ Jeff P).

Nothing discussed.

NEW BUISNESS

Peggy put together some items that were donated to the club from various stores and vendors, and put them up for auction with all the proceeds going towards the scholarship fund. In the end we raised and additional $360. Way to go CdeO!!! Thank you Peggy for your work in getting all the items?

2010 elections and nominations where held to vote in new officers. The outgoing officers were:

President- Meagan R.
Vice President- Eric R.
Treasurer- Art C.
Secretary- Miranda R.

Nominations continued, followed by a vote from the club, for the new officers of 2010. The following are the results.

The 50/50 raffle winner responsible for bringing next month’s raffle prize is: Wayne

The meeting was adjourned at 7:55pm

The next meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 10, 2010 at Hawk Prairie Inn.
